The Infamous Comet Airliner Was Destroyed By Vibrational Energy - Foreshadowing - Maybe?

Around the dawn of the jet age, an airliner was produced that ran on jet engines, it was the first of its kind, and its performance completely blew out of the water propeller driven aircraft in Airliners. Its name was the Comet. Unfortunately, aerospace engineers and scientists did not fully understand the issues with harmonic resonance and vibrational energy at the time.

The jet engines of the Comet caused the airliner to break apart in midair, and there were several accidents until scientists figured out what was going on. Harmonic resonance and vibrational energy is real, and it can be a good friend, or it can be a common enemy in engineering.

Speaking of man's best friend; some folks at GA Tech calculated the number of oscillations needed for a wet dog to shake in order to dry its fire after it's been wet. Their calculations came out to be; "For a Labrador retriever, this turns out to be 4.3 Hz." Unfortunately, as size increased so too did the frequency needed to perform the infamous "drying shake" by dogs, infamous because if you are ever around one while conducting this activity, technique, and operation, much of that water goes everywhere, including on you too! (as you already know). [1].

Now then, I'd like to switch directions in this intellectual dialogue to include a potential enemy of mankind, actually all the species living on the surface of the planet, and that would be a large asteroid or comet hitting the Earth. Many have reasoned that we need a planetary defense system, and I completely agree; a plan to shoot down, destroy, divert, or deflect a killer asteroid or comet headed for Earth. Some have suggested a kinetic kill shot missile, and others have suggested using nuclear weapons strapped to an asteroid to blow it out of the sky.

However, a real deadly asteroid which was several kilometers wide would take a huge amount of nuclear weapons to blow apart. However, if we used vibrational energy or harmonic resonance to break the ionic bonds, then we could hit with a very small weapons to break it apart and send the pieces in all different directions, so that it could not reform again due to the large gravitational mass. Perhaps we should all consider this.
